Here is a message to those of you out there who are retired and think that you have
nothing more to contribute to society! Professor Hache retired in 1995 and has since performed numerous lecture recitals at the piano and returned to the class room in 2006 as an adjunct professor at a local college here in St. Augustine, Florida. At the age of 80, he published his first book "Almost Made It" and cut his 5th CD recording. He is also very busy giving piano lessons to a few talented youngsters who occasionally join him in concert as both soloist and duet partners. His motto is " Never give up and keep delivering whatever you think will benefit mankind, no matter how insignificant you might think the consequences of your labor might be". Believe me when I say it will make you feel better and keep you younger in spirit. "Reginald Hache is a gifted pianist who has performed with the likes of Arthur Fiedler and The Boston Pops. He recorded this CD on our 1915 Steinway grand piano. It features 25 pieces, exquisitely performed, from Gershwin to Debussy." |
